100 fps feels like 30fps
I dont know why, but when ever i limit the frame rate to something like 100 fps it feels like 30 fps, i tried rtss and the ingame fps_max,

Maybe you're used to the higher framerate?
nope, the game feels noticeably horrible, i play apex at 80fps capped with rtss, and it feels alooot better,

I have had issues with frames since launch, had 0 in csgo.
I guess the culprit is instable frametimes and bad frame pacing, feels like playing on 60hz.
Volvo is too rich to care about fixing the game.
no bablo mierda nenhuam

Before the update my fps was a maximum of 150, now it's no more than 65, I can't even play a single kill because the fps constantly drops to 30~45. I use an i3 7100+GTX1660 6GB+16GB RAM

its not about the avg frame rate, cs2 has bad frame TIMES and 1% lows, many instability, What made my game "much smoother" was playing native and settings eveything low and especially turning ( Anisotropic filtering OFF ) in nvidia control panel which results in blurred textures ever so slightly as distance, making the game less sharp that way will make the game "feel" smoother since theres less detail, AA high and shadows bla bla bla you can keep on, Shadows low for me works well, (lest crisp = potato = feels better) I can still notice enemy shadows on walls, they fixed that even on low settings, also REBAR support helped my 1% lows... other than that get some nice ram like B die, that helps fps lows and instability. I play at 1440 x 240hz and cap to 237, thats the best imo, few fps lower than ur refresh rate, other than that there is not much else which is give a meaningful impact. ive done hours of research to find fixes, the game is to blame here. you can always tweak windows or whatever OS you use. other than that you can potatoify the game even further to your limit to increase visual fluidity  have fun

basically, while capping frames to 120, the 1% lows is like 50-60 fps, thats the issue
