Doxxing in CS2

I heard some innocent players in CS2 who isn't hacking and acting toxic at all are getting doxxed by hackers and toxic players by changing their nicknames to the innocent player's real names with some vulgarities and their steam pfp changed to the innocent player's real face reveal. This tactic is done by major toxic players. I think they probably did this because one of the innocent players profile got his real name exposed without setting his profile to private. So the basic reason why the toxic players and hackers are doing this is they just wanna have fun for all times. Note: Before CS2 is released, I was getting doxxed by toxic players once and I will never see that toxic players again.

Reporting to any toxic players out there doesn't help at all... So they're free to do whatever they want.

You don't have to put your profile on private to hide your real name.

You don't have to put your profile on private to hide your real name.

Nowadays I always removed my real name on Steam and setting my profile to private just to keep myself safe from toxic players.

what info you freely give out all over the internet will possibly come back to you in ways that wont give you a happy smiley face day, there are some things you cant control like a whole lotta poorly secured businesses getting hacked who have your info. so in general just dont give out any personal info whatsoever.

I was so gullible back then until I get doxxed by the toxic players. Also, CS2 isn't released yet. So, I have drastically changed everything in my Steam profile. I bet that most of the legit players in CS2 are getting doxxed before. Not gonna touch CS2 again.
