disrespect for older players, we are not obliged to play with new steam accounts, Valve need implement filters.

LOL, I have been playing since its beta in 1999 and let me say this, I would like to have new accounts in game because it keeps me on par with them and the speed in witch I have achieved in reaction time. I am currently 50 and do not see me slowing down yet my reaction time is 150 ms average. This is because I work on it with younger players. No filter for me please.

If you can't handle against newcomers it doesn't mean devs must do anything for you. Move to single games, grandpa.

I'm sure even my dad would be offended if I insisted he played the "boomers only playlist" If my dad in his 50s can hold his own, you can too

Just know the predominant age group in games moves all the time, its nothing we can control, I'm not even 30 and these new kids make me feel old. Don't worry, when the next generation comes they'll get their butts whooped too some day

OP probably thinks they'd see less cheaters if new accounts would've gotten filtered out, but no, there'd just be a ton of cheaters on old bought accounts.

as much as I'm tired of seeing these claims by people who don't actually play the game even or cheat themselves, it depends on trust factor I guess, I've been in the lower… areas of it, and now it's definitely better than it was, and I remember spinbotting guys all having 2015 service medals, very frequently getting in my games…

so no, filtering by account age and whether it was actively played on or not won't work…

although even now most of the time when I'm seeing an empty account I'm still paranoid for the whole game that now, now, he's gonna spin, after this round, oh look he got knifed, he's gonna toggle because of that… but no! most of them are actually just new players! or smurfs, but that isn't too bad, skill doesn't matter as much as in dota here anyway…

This isnt 2015 anymore, the percentage of cheaters and high in double digits, to these "new" players HvH is just normal, like most games... its the new generations.

Im not so sure about the new account thing. They have less baggage and the accounts are fresh their libraries small and the Record keeping of what you do in steam or your data is all recorded. As your account gets older the more it will lag with steam. I have noticed this in this main account. But, if i get on my other 2 5 digit accounts they are fast and really fresh feeling like they are new, This is the outcome of your time online and its you who may have caused your lower trust to see issues with new accounts.

That many years of life experience and still self promoting in a completely unrelated context? Mate u need something fixed. The guy asked whys he put into lobbies with 0 badge players, not how to be good in ur 50s. I respect all the years and dedications but its so unrelated and so out of nowhere that it feels like ur grand kids were on ur pc. You couldve just talked the guy about his concerns instead of the "Hey mate i got real fast reaction and real long service time check this out" thing.
