alt tab breaks the game

nice, you'd think a game like CSGO can be alt tabbed, which it always could, until CS2 I just realized. Added another reason why I hate CS2

It alt+tabs just fine. It's not CS2, it's your system or user error.

Not sure how. Been playing for 9 years, everything almost worked fine until CS2. Especially the new update, which ruins my FPS whenever there is a smoke and this alt tab thing.

The last updates could be the cause. Players with weaker systems had massive fps drop and even people with crazy rigs like 14900K+4090 are complaining about the performance.

Yeah exactly. Never had any issues until the most recent update. FPS drops like crazy whenever I'm in a smoke grenade or just standing by one

Do you play in Fullscreen and have you tried playing around with different options to see if that fixes it? I know in the past alt tabbing when the game is set to full screen has always been a bit wonky.

I probably did it at the exact wrong timing for it to break. After restart it worked again. Still though, it sucked
