CRASHING CONSISTENTLY AFTER UPDATE 02/14/24

I am on an NVIDIA RTX 3060 with 32 GB RAM and a Ryzen 5 7500x. I have never crashed on CS2 or CSGO before until this update. Let alone any other program/game that demands way more GPU/CPU power than CS2. Please fix this Valve. It makes it unfair for me and my team to be able to win if I am subject to being crashed from the game.

And yes, my drivers are all up to date. My pc is well kept and I do not run any other programs with counter strike. (e.g spotify, google, etc.)

I have tried multiple graphics settings. The game recommends "High" preset as the best for my PC's performance while still compromising for graphics.

Theres nothing wrong with my PC. This post is intended to see if others have this issue as well as to let it be known so hopefully it can be fixed. Like I said I have never had any issue with any program crashing until the update today.

same specs same issue, altough i think you ment 7600X..

I've verified the game files and updated my drivers(clean install) this time and the problems are solved. also if you have any start launch options, remove them, they are only causing issues after the last update.

Someone told me when I had this issue to go window borderless, but I wouldn't recommend, 30/40 FPS less on average. There's fixxes for the issue but really upto Valve to fix it.

So I tried what you did and I only crashed once in a game. Will have to test more but its better than crashing once every other round. Did yours totally stop crashing or would you say its just less often like I stated? Hoping someone at Valve can patch this

kinda weird thing is if I play as practice mode it never crashes but if I play as casual or competitive it crashes

yea idk i never had anything like this happen. have you tried reinstalling the game?
