Is no one going to address what happened to CS:GO?
Well it's obvious that the game got overwritten with CS2, but something else happened to the CS:GO beta batch.

In one of the CS2 updates from 1-2 months back (from what I remember), Valve COMPLETELY made CS:GO worthless because no matter what menu or feature from the game you try to access, you'll always the popup saying, "This is the legacy version of CS:GO".
Why should this be something to point out? Because you can't play community servers anymore, and you can't even view demos anymore. I wanted to make some cool demos in CS:GO because ReShade doesn't work on CS2, but now I can't, so rip that.
The only way I've seen people be able to bypass this "lockout" is to get some cheats that basically unlock the game once again, which who knows how that works.

Your 2 IQ brain might be thinking, "but it's because the game isn't supported anymore!!! :steammocking:" Even after January 2024, CS:GO was still somewhat playable. Community servers and demos would work fine. But after one of the CS2 updates from this year, CS:GO was silently locked down without any note on any of the CS2 update blogs.
Valve, please answer :p

And by the way Valve, y'all still haven't made the support page that CS:GO tells you to go to.
