+turnleft into console, alt tab and play something else meanwhile
edit: +left and +right are now used for strafing left and right in CS2, corrected to +turnleft and +turnright

+turnright makes you spin to the right at a constant rate,
this is needed to trick the server into thinking that you're not AFK and holding an input while you're not actually holding an input. (and that is needed to not get kicked for being AFK automatically by the server) of course you can use +forward instead but that could make you fall off the map 5 times on Vertigo for example and you'd get banned
both commands are left-overs from Doom/Quake, from back when people were using keyboard keys to aim

These commands have been changed in CS2.
