Why did valve delete cs:go and not release cs2 as a separate game?

I really miss how polished cs:go was and the community server brouser, especially surf servers, please could we bring cs:go back just as cs:s and cs1.6 is still playable. :,(

to force players to play a "promising" beta mess

It makes no sense for a company to split the playerbase of their most popular game in half, notwithstanding the tremendous problem they would be met with regarding the transfer and economy of skins.

because nobody made similar game to stop them from trolling the community?

My only gripe is that the system requirements for CS2 are higher than CSGO. CSGO could run 60fps minimum on virtually anything made after ~2010. Runs fine on my computer, but my laptop with a gtx 1050, not so much.

Because they want to force us to use CS2.

because their community market is worth millions of dollars for cs. if they split csgo and cs2 into 2 separate games it would've screwed everything and they dont want that and they know players want their skins

for the skins, if they keep csgo every time new skins get added it is double work to add them to csgo and cs2
