How often do you guys encounter super rare skins like Dragon Lore, Wild Lotus, Howl etc. during Gameplay?
During all my time in csgo I climbed from Silver to Global and back, over 2000 hours of MM, deathmatch, esea, faceit and so on.

Yet I NEVER saw a dragon lore being used in any in my games. Are they just that insanely rare or is it more the fact that people who buy these skins dont play the game that much?

I feel like Traders, collectors or rich ppl just wanting to flex dont really grind mm to say the least imo

It's even more confusing when you watch pro cs and literally everyone has the top tier skins, such a difference to everyday play

Usually you can see more exotic skins in casual games than in MM games, from my experience.

I've seen Dragon Lore in retakes, for example.

Well considering i own a dlore myself, rather often. Gotta be said tho, the first dm i played after i bought it in 2017, i immensely met someone else who had one aswell.
Apart from that, Howl never but at least twice a medusa.

only saw the dlore twice in a casual match and gungnir once
i think its just that people with super expensive skins don't play the "actual game" they "play" to earn profit from skins, thats probably why

I've seen most of them at some point. Dragon Lores, Howls, Golden AKs, more AWP Medusa's than I can count etc. Odly a lot of times this happens in casual games rather than comp.

Interesting enough this is true. Especially on casual I see plenty of people with such skins. Those player usually aren't good. Probably work a lot, thus have money but no time to train/play competitive.

It is more common to find high tier skins on high level CS aswell since people love the game, spend a lot of tine into it and thus are willing to invest money into their hobby.

I myself had a dlore for some time and people were already screaming at me in warmup. That beeing said I haven't bought it, just used it from a friend while he stopped playing.

What is more interesting is the status of rare items in other games. I see plenty of swift spectral tiger in WoW and have one myself since nearly 10 years now. That thing costs 13.000 dollar, so as much as a souvenir dragon lore or a top tier low float FN normal dlore. My guess is that most dlores are owned by very few people who bought them all. There are accounts woth an inventory value of multiple 100.000 dollar and they have dozens of them. That increased the value and the rarity by A TON.

I would bet good money some rich ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ just buy expensive stuff to flex with. I've seen it in game. Plus others will be earning a living trading and selling so they will want to control the supply. Then other people will just have well paying jobs but won't have a lot of time to play the game because of a lopsided work life ballance. All of that takes skins off the market.
