CS2 Damaged Disc Error
I've already trouble shooted all the online methods, running as admin, allowing in windows defender and so on, on steam it shows like I need to update but it won't allow me to download the update, I can open de cs2.exe file directly and it will launch, but cannot play premier o anything else that's not the workshop, I know the disc isn't damaged. it's a M2 SSD and my OS runs on it also, so it's not possible for it to be damaged.

I reinstalled a couple times already, it works for some time, when I try to play the next day it displays the same damaged disc error, apparently it has something to do with vac, as it couldn't verify the files of vac I can't play comp or something like that.

Anybody experienced this issue before?

if you are, be sure to restart csgo before trying to use official servers

No I only play refrag to warm up, but even after restart it won't allow me to play comp, and it will show a vac message, it says it was not able to verify my files, I'm not vac banned so this is weird

Hello, my English is very bad, but it is possible that the disk is damaged or has a reading failure, even though I run other programs, it deletes all the files from cs2 not from steam but from the disk and when it verifies files and does not find it will be reinstalled, if this did not solve it look for a way to scan your disk, I also had the problem and had to change the SSD as I was losing files over time.
