problem with aim, mouse usage
I have a problem with my mouse and how to use it. I had a non-gaming mouse six months ago and a gaming mouse for six months. 800 dpi, system acceleration sensitivity 0 and ingame 1.9. If I'm in a gunfight where the opponent is opposite, no problem, but if I have to turn 180, sometimes I can't manage to pick up my mouse and flick it quickly. I leave it on the table and that means I can't turn far enough. Setting the sensitivity higher is not possible because then I can no longer aim. Why can't I get it into my head to lift the mouse? Is the mouse not good for me? Am I in the wrong position relative to the table? what could be the problem? I know I'm not good, only helpful answers please haha. GG

there is a windows option for acceleration but you can also bind your dpi , high for turn and low to aim

Im on Linux , But i have acceleration too, but turned it off. Because I was reading it’s better for accurate aim. I’m doing ok with this but turn is insane .. maybe I try acceleration on or search some binds .. do u have some binds that I can use ?

That is true because you can't really be accurate when trying to flick fast the mouse, it's hard to get used to and train your muscle memory with acceleration enabled.
It's a conundrum, only way to solve it is to have a huge mousepad and room to move your mouse so that you can turn 180 degrees, either that or get used to lifting the mouse.
Because you want the lowest sensitivity you can have so that you can navigate individual pixels so you can pinpoint a target, again, the problem is you have to move your mouse a lot to completely turn, if you increase the sensitivity then it becomes a problem when doing small adjustments.

Either that, that's why this trend of the 10-keyless gaming keyboards, by removing the numpad on the right side you get like 10cm of space for your mouse, which would help having more room to turn, if you have a large mousepad.
Or you try like KoroSu suggested, to have a toggle to switch between your regular low DPI to high one when you want to turn, but again, it will take a while to get used to it, maybe it's easier to just lift the mouse so you can turn fully.

Okay thank a lot for your time and help! In the future I try some things from ur examples! Smaller keyboard sounds right haha. I have 1.3k hours in cs and I’m on the point, my aim not getting better. Time to change some things. Thank u ! Have a nice weekend m8
