Low FPS/FPS drops
Anyone else has low fps or fps drops even tho they have pretty decent PC/gaming setup? I feel like i should have more than 80-150 unstable fps on RTX3060 and AMD Ryzen 7 5800h. I know it's laptop but still, i think i should have around 180-220 stable fps?

are you actually dropping to below 100 frames?
did a quick YT search for benchmarks with identical or similar specs (5800h 3060-3070) and most of them are running around 150+ avg on 1080p high settings but they aren't experiencing abysmal 0.1% lows of 2 digit frames like you do so either an update messed something up or you're downclocking hard.

No es cause settings means nothing in cs2. dosent matter if u go highest or lowest. fps is the same (i got desktop and labtop same experience. on high i go 260-663 and the same on low exept on low it can boost to 1247 fps but thats just spiking wich wont give u any advantage so u might aswell run the game full. on labtop its more like 200-420 ish. and to get the best fps, all u gotta do is check ur nvidia settings, check if its set to quality or performance where it can and set it to performance. thats all u gotta do should allow u to get the best fps for ur mashine. also allow ur armory crate or what ever u use on the labtop to run performance aswell (not turbo or lower) sure alot will say u have to do like 1000 things but its not needed with ur setup. my labtop is ryzen 9 7900hx 8 cores, 16 gigs of ddr 4 ram with a rtx 3070. if that dosent seem to do the trick this is the last option.

Copy the following text:
steam://open/console

Open your web browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, etc.).
Paste the text into the address bar and press enter.
Confirm opening the link in Steam if your browser asks.
Steam should open the console tab.

Copy the following text in console:
shader_build 730

Press enter.

Open Counter-Strike 2 and run around in a practice game for a few minutes.

Go get a coffee or a snack and let Steam build your shaders.

not promising u will get more, but it worked wonders for me.

Ryzen 7 5800h is a laptop cpu not a pc cpu, therefore its much worse than any pc 5000 series cpu and thats why you're getting low fps. Even a shi77y 5500 pc cpu beats your 5800h, tbf you should be glad you're getting 150ish fps with that laptop cpu

its cs, dosent matter if u have the newest and wildest cpu u aint getting alot fps over 300 locked. so u might sday its a shi77y cpu but its not worse than paying 3k for the newest and only gaining like 100 fps u cant use for anything anyways. in my desktop i have the ryzen 9 7900x 12 cores and u see what it runs. spending money aint always the answer so if u cant do anything but talk ♥♥♥♥, then u might aswel not talk at all. u cant get over 300 locked fps unless ur sitting on 32 cores or higher. it just cant. ps my grafik is a tuf 4080 16 gigs. total overkill and still it dosent deliver much more than a 500 dollar pc in cs2. all other games ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ blows away the competition (and i know gpu dont mean ♥♥♥♥ in cs2 but its just to state that overkill for cs2 is just stupid and no need to talk bad about low end pc just cause u feel u need to sound like a brainiac. cs2 is just made for every pc so yeah dont be glad u have 200 fps cause that normal for cs2.

1. cs is cpu based, the better cpu the more fps
2. it does matter if you have a better cpu
3. the more fps the less input lag.
you can uncap your fps with fps_max 0 that's what all pro players use (some cap it to 400)
4. I have a 700$ PC and I get 400-500 fps so stop complaining and think before you buy your gaming rig (dont get laptop and get a better cpu next time)
