I also had that feeling when switched to CS:GO from 1.6, because I enjoyed CS 1.5-1.6 so much when I was a little kid, and CS:GO was so different.
Yet sometimes I still play CS 1.6 for nostalgia and fun, the game is still sweet like it was almost 20 years ago. But Valve decided to remove CS:GO unfortunately, so people who want to play CS:GO for their nostalgia are... well, you know.
If you aren't enjoying it, then I recommend what the other comment said: take a break, play other games, and maybe come back when you think CS2 has improved etc.
First, there is a lot of other game, if you look for more fun game you can try Valorant, it sometimes help testing other games.
Second, CS2 is really different, you need to re-learn some stuff, peak advantages change everything.
