The shooting mechanics has been casualed since CS:GO. Now you don't even have to be really skilled to control the recoil how it was in CS 1.6. Now you just move your mouse down slightly and voila.
If it is still too hard for the modern children generation, then I guess the next CS series game will be just with 1 button to play the game and with the only function in game "press Mouse 1 to kill your enemy".
That is what i am talking about, the game is too damn simple and boring. And the biggest part of information given by the UI is about skins, man
If CS gets ADS, parkour, perks and so on, it won't be CS anymore. If you don't like that CS is so simple, it means you're playing the wrong game.
Also I don't get the problem about UI.
You pick PLAY -> Gamemode -> Maps -> Accept Match. Isn't it easy to do?
As far as UI goes, it’s ok, it’s simple to navigate. For me the market is problematic, i am consistently met with errors and having to refresh.
I wouldn’t play this game if it were full of gimmicky mechanics, like wall running, double jumps, sliding or power ups.
Simple doesn't mean old. Since last 20 years almost nothing has changed. They could add at least normal aiming, it would not make the game really harder. And now they added these agents and another visual crap. P.S. Parkour in some kind is alredy in game (bhop). There is lack of useful content i think. They give only new skins for a moment
"You pick PLAY -> Gamemode -> Maps -> Accept Match. Isn't it easy to do?" - Like in any other game actually, here is nothing special. I was talking about totally another fact about the UI
"If you don't like that CS is so simple, it means you're playing the wrong game." - May be. I would play r6 siege if ubisoft developers had brain. Situation with skins and support there is even worse
"They could add at least normal aiming" what is that supposed to mean? You move your crosshair at the enemy head and press the mouse button to kill the enemy. How isn't it normal even? It is the most normal thing introduced in the video game history ever.
No idea what the situation with cosmetics in R6, but in CS it is just cosmetics and it doesn't affect gameplay at all. You simply can ignore it.
It is not like Warface or something, where you buy a skin for a gun to get better stats, so basically pay for win.
Yeah, you're clearly playing the wrong game. CS is definitely not for you.
Also I'm a fan of condensed UI with as much functionality as possible on a given screen, instead of minimalism, so I prefer the old Scaleform UI too (the one we had before Panorama)
"I didn't say anything about the game being old" - I did. And it is, in terms of gameplay.
""They could add at least normal aiming" what is that supposed to mean?" - It is when bullets come out of the weapon, not face. It is when you can use the gun sight on any weapon and maybe even customize it.
"Yeah, you're clearly playing the wrong game. CS is definitely not for you." - yep, it is too old and simple. And i dont want to ignore almost circus agents running around the map. The community endured this, it endured the release, cheaters and it will endure ever further. But I like this game and that's why i criticize it. It could be much better and still simple.
