$500 isn't really much for both gloves+knife.

Maybe something like
Tiger Tooth + Yellow-banded \ Big Game \ Overtake
Blood Pressure + Crimson Web
Crimson Weave + Slaugher
Boom! + Black Laminate
Autotornic + Charred
Case Hardened
or some camo options...

For blue the Doppler Phase 4 is the best, but $500 is clearly not enough for that.
So probably the Bright Water Knives and Specialist Gloves | Mogul.

Yes, but they're might be too dark for Bright Water knives.
If you can get a Doppler Phase 4 knife, then Polygon gloves would match it very nice.
Or for Bright Water knives Cool Mint gloves looks really good, but again the price.

So you either could save money, but also you can sell or trade your items later so you won't lose so much anyway.

I don't have experience trading skins, I don't know when you sell it, it takes a short time or it takes longer at the same price when you buy it, especially common skins like the ones you mentioned above.

Trading is not that good as before.
The simple tip: if you want to buy cheaper, buy either during the winter and summer Steam sales, or when there is an Operation released.
