Are CS2 bans shared between multiple accounts?
I met a cheater and he said he will just come back if he gets banned.

But why can't Valve ban all of his accounts?

Is that something they can't or won't do?

Thats literally what they already do with vac bans.
They are shared across accounts with the same phone number linked to the Steam account at the moment of the ban

because cheaters use hardware spoofs and ip spoofs so EVEN if Valve did ban their ip (which I think they have so internet cafe's have been affected). Those hackers are usually using "spoofers" to fake their identity (usually built into the cheat software). So it would be pointless. They can change their identity extremely easily by editing files/firmware.

They need more identification for accounts. Like photo ID. Harder to make accounts. Harder for people to make multiple.

1. Library is shared by "family share" (Only paid games)
2. Phone Number between accounts are the same (only CS2 and TF2)

They can simply create a new account or buy a new one after the ban, as CS2 is free and they choose to not link any phone number.

There is nothing such as hwid or Ip bans from any Valve game.
Ah okay, thanks for the insight.

that is good input. I hope valve considers approaches like that.
