Does anyone actually like the CS2 loadout system?

I mean the change from CSGO where you can't have all the guns available to buy in comp/premiere (not enough slots to have all SMGs/shotguns/rifles).

Does anyone actually think that's a good change? What's it improving about the game?

I still have teammates who buy semi meme guns like autosniper. When they do that I know they gave up one of galil/ak/scout/awp/sg for the entire match .. all of which are more useful most of the time. Do you see what I mean?

that's true, i think in csgo you had to choose one or the other, but now you can have both right? same for deagle/r8?

call me crazy, but i think for ct it makes sense to have nova/xm/mag7 all in the loadout.. for t you can't say the same (sawed off is just too useless) ... tricky topic since it gets into opinion/taste pretty fast and this forum is full of wingman players :}

there are so many smgs but the mp9 is better than all of them.. you don't see pro players asking for any of the other ones to maybe be nerfed. weird.

I like being able to finally configure my buy menu, I like having both guns that would've occupied the same slot in CS:GO, but I don't like that it's so limited… Would've been cool if you could opt in for 9 slots in each category xD

But with how much weapons there are it's honestly a good way to streamline the game for players who just joined. Everything you can buy at a glance instead of categories, and you can't buy what you (probably) don't need as a new player

the loadout system is great, it points out who is a filthy auto degen. because you "have" to purposely put it on your loadout.
