But I am not playing seriously, I love to buy fun guns and make the stuff, so yeah, not enough slots for doing dirt on the battlefiled.
i wonder how many people remove the famas from their loadout vs how many people remove the galil...
probably because you're playing deathmatch/arms race?
not what this thread is about..
Since i've been using numpad binds to buy since ~2016, was the same...
Good thing is that now, it permits more weapons.
If you read the screen you can use F3 to disable random spawn weapon in Deathmatch
doesn't it permit fewer weapons though?
in every other cs game, the buy menu shows you all the guns (all pistols, smgs, shotguns, rifles, machineguns)
in cs2 it can't show that many - you have to leave some out so they aren't buyable unless you finish your game, put them in your loadout (removing something else in the process) then join a new game
for example rifles: the choices are galil, ak, scout, sg, auto, awp ... 6 guns but there are 5 slots, so most people probably leave out the auto and can never buy it in games
for ct it's the same idea but famas/m41/m44/scout/aug/auto/awp, they actually have to leave out 2 choices .. so probably most people leave out the famas and the auto
i can hear the cope now "ct has to leave out more rifles than t because t has to push and ct are the defenders!!!1"
the exception is in casual where you can change the loadout mid-match
the best i can say for that is it discourages some people equipping the negev :}
on the other hand, when you get in a game and your teammates use negevs it means they gave up some other better gun ... and then it's very disappointing!
In the future, they will probably add new weapons to the game, and I believe the purpose of the new loadout system is for this.
to make it so you have to give up even more guns to use the new ones?
if they want everyone to use a certain set of guns, why don't they just remove the bad meme ones...?
We already have more weapons than are used. Adding more weapons wont change the narrow metas we have.
Adding weapons to cs has proven to be very difficult. We can at max expect a new weapon in a 2-3 year cycle. Seems a bit too far away for me.
