We're getting true TF2 experience now...
Only got back into CS2 a few days ago, as the itch to play CS again was just too huge.
I noticed that it still has some issues, that it had at launch.

I was a bit hyped for a 25 year anniversary update containing content. Heck... I didn't even want new content. Just give me Cache, Train, Cobble and maybe a handful new maps.
What did we get? NOTHING.

At this point it feels like they only run the game to sell skins and get their 5% market fees.

While it's efficient from a company POV, I really wonder if they just "like" their franchises to die.
Is noone left at valve that LOVES CS? It's such a good franchise and I used to love it. I could even see beyond that sucky playerbase and sketchy cheaters. But man... NOTHING?! There is so much wrong with CS2 and it genuinly feels like most of the stuff would be super super easy to fix.
Yet they decide to do NOTHING?!?!?

Only way we can stop it, is by not playing and not buying skins.
Is this gonna happen? No.
I'm actually about to give up on the game. I don't see them getting any work done on it.
It was pushed out (forcefully) about a year ago and it STILL hasn't reached CSGO levels.
It's actually crazy to replace a product, with a worse product.

CS2 is literally worse compared to CSGO, than Overwatch 2 is compared to Overwatch 1.
At least with OW they didn't completely mess up the stuff they already had.

Patience is a foreign concept to this community

Are you complaining because your imaginary update didn't come out?

"patience"?

If at this point you think this is a patience problem, then you are delusional.
Valve makes about 100.000.000$ /m from the game.
You really think that it's fine to ignore the playerbase if they make that much money from it?

Did Valve say an update was coming? Or clout chasers on Twitter say?

Idk but part of my protest will be refusing to pay for a stupid keychain. Valve is becoming the enemy

So if the playerbase decides to spend so much money on the game, then people probably like the game as it is? Because I don't know anyone who would spend money on a game they don't enjoy.

They can because they own the game and valve can do whatever they want. And the game is fine as intended. If valve wants to ignore CS2 or any other games they can do it. Look at Team Fortress 2. Cheating bots hás been for like since end of 2017. And yet valve didn't make that software (not gonna tell the name) detected since release.

Well I dont enjoy CS2 that much because the game is boring. Only main reason I played before it was because to collect high tier service medals as a hobby (from my older account). Duo because too many kicks at comp or any gamemode, I quit playing on Steam and move to XBOX One to achievement hunt. I'm not a fan from Steam community for years because the report system does not work most of the time.

Valve didn't have patience when they decided to replace CSGO with a new version that had less than half of its content, so why should we?
