Selling cases and skins

After a long break I got back into CS and realized that my inventory value and especially the value of my cases have increased significantly over the past years. Now I am thinking of selling my cases and a couple of skins to buy a cheap knife of around 100€. However, I had a couple of questions before doing so.

1. Should I sell my cases now or will they increase in value in the foreseeable future?

2. Will knife prices go down in the foreseeable future? (I remember that you could get cheap knives for around 50 bucks, tho I guess CS2 ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the market in that regard?)

3. Should I sell on the Steam market or on a third party site? (I'm aware of the high fees on Steam, however I feel more comfortable selling on there)

I'd be happy if someone could help me with my questions.

Considering every case including OG ones can drop, i doubt it'll raise to significant amount for you to hold it.

I see. Does the same apply to the knives as well?
