Same here... but my wife and friends gone waaaay worse PCs and it doesnt happend...
It happened to me for last 2 months. But now it's crashing all the time in game...
its happend to be alot before but today i updated my gpu drivers and it just happens all the time now, something is conflicting with the gpu drivers, what gpu you have? im on a 4090
4090 here as well...
1) it's caused by combination of software, hardware and cs2, which means it CAN be fixed if you know where to look, but mostly it's cs2 devs fault.
2) i've had this issue come and go after cs2 updates. as PC expert, i know every file on my PC, i don't use windows or driver updates, only thing i update is games, cuz you can't play cs2 without updating to latest version. i don't even update steam.
sometimes after a patch it's impossible to play, game keeps closing left and right, at some point i had BSODs happening 3-4 times a week.
conclusion is that they messed something up and it'll keep happening until they fix it, if you did fresh windows install, then software issues are very unlikely, which means it must have something to do with your hardware, unless you installed certain programs aswell.
one really odd error i got recently, was something to do with "kernel", i wonder if they implemented kernel anti cheat or something? about a week ago i got BSOD mentioning "kernel" something, it auto restarted so i didn't have time to read what it said exactly.
could have been coincidence, but it happened in cs2 as always.
my advice, just report it to support and flood their support with error reports. provide them details, like you have done here. describe what and when happens and tell them what you have tried. valve doesn't read these topics, make sure to make a support ticket.
this goes for everyone who has the issue, open a support ticket and give them as much details as possible.
Meanwhile DD2 hasnt crashed once at 5k resolution with raytraced global illumination on... *sigh*
Good point actually, forgot about it completely 0.o will do. Thanks !
The game is broken as hell :( and it hurts..
Same.. all games, stream, everything ultra quality. No problems. CS2 constant crashing...
"D3D10Warp. dll errors occur when your system files are corrupt, the computer has a virus, or the DLL file is accidentally deleted. To fix it, you need to run a malware scan, use the SFC command to repair system files, or perform a system restore."
from google...
All the problems apparentely occur with HIGH END PCs 0.o for some reason as reddit says
it's something to do with graphics. i think direct 3d, but who uses that? i can't be bothered to look it up, but definetely something to do with graphics.
