Changing the color of the AUG/SG 553 scoped crosshair

In CSGO the color of your zoomed in dot on the AUG & SG 553 would change with the color of your main crosshair. This wasnt optimal but it at least could be another color then bright green. The green is a problem because you could barelly see it when looking at brighter sports of the maps. Now in CS2 this problem only became more apparent with the maps beeing brighter, usually leading to better visibility. Now in CS2 the color doesnt change with your normal crosshair anymore and i cant figure out how to change the color which heavily nerfs those two guns that already have to compete with the FAMAS/Galil or other weapons in your Loadout.
My excample for this problem is on Dust2. You cant see your crosshair when looking from CT to long car.
I hope someone can help me here and that this isnt one of the many features they removed when switching from CSGO to CS2.

I have bad news for you, the bright green dot is here to stay.

At this moment, there's no way to change the color or adjust the intensity of that dot.

It is one of the features they removed with the release of cs2. It was implemented in csgo very late so there's a chance it will come back to cs2 eventually
