The chances of unboxing a Case Harden alone is pretty rare, let alone one that has that unique mostly blue pattern. It also doesn't help that the Case Harden skin is mostly on a lot of already hard to get weapons like Knives, AK. The other two weapons (MAC-10 and Five-SeveN) are somewhat cheaper, but can still get up to $23 - $100 without Blue Gem patterns.
The reason why you see such expensive ones are because they are most likely top 1 pattern + top 1 float, it all adds up in rarity + looks. It's kind of a flex for a rich guy to own the best of the rarest, even if I was a millionaire I would prefer to get several cheaper but still nice looking ones than the one big boy.
I don't really care for clean FN blue gems, in lower wear they look pretty much as good.
Some people just got insane amounts to spend.
