Is Valorant much more popular than Counter Strike in North America?

Greetings! I have this question after watching one video on youtube talking about difference between Valorant match and CS match.

In video, the Youtuber shows two match(both of them are live). In the Valorant match, there is rarely any shout or cheer from audience---most of the time they just clap, but in the CS match, the audience keep shouting, yelling, cheering during the match. The Youtuber explain the different are due to the fact that "Valorant is much popular in North America, and people in North America prefers clapping than standing and yelling, while in European, where CS are dominated, people loves yelling."

And thus, here's my questions:

1. Are Valorant actually more popular than CS in North America? If so, why?

2. Does audience of Valorant Match always clapping instead of cheering up vocally?

3. Does Europeans actually prefer Counter-Strike, why?

1. Maybe. I dont have stats. Because it has a more attractive visual style for the target audience of young people
3.Because it's old school. Computer games in Europe have always been as popular as console games, unlike America, where at one time every family had their own Xbox.

Valorant as an Esports is way more popular in NA than CS mainly because of Riot pushing it heavily like they do LoL.
CS as an esport died in NA from a multitude of reasons,

Yelling and clapping is usually region and audience rules dependent and RIot is pretty strict in this regard.
