20 Year Token - Please Create and Release

Please create and release the 20 year token. I was expecting to get mine a couple of days ago. This was nothing unexpected, the last token was 10 years ago.

It is a big deal to some of us, and a really simple easy win.

Please release the 20 year token for us to equip.

Agreed ;) ...5 years ago. I kinda let it slide.

But this is a big one. I want to display it, which will hold a lot more weight in casual games. Nobody understands service medals, but a big fat numerical digit they get.

Should be 25 for some of us, but anyway.

EDIT - Not 25 until later this year for CS at least. Without the old counter-strike.net forums up anymore we can't prove it anyway. So, 20 is a good starting point.

A: Intresting that its ALWAYS ppl with bought accounts that are so focussed on account age.
Your only signaling to valve not implement it because idiots like you will buy accounts with such a badge to TRY to look cool.

I was about to say that. It's so obvious. Always the same. And so sad.

And as always the explanation is the same and for OP who is only on steam since 3~ years:
Steam was released in 2003, but before that we had WON as a client. Steam did not permanently track playtime since 2003 tho but only since 2008. This feature is the measurement valve uses to determine how long someone plays CS. The 5 year coin was released in 2013. The 10 year coin in 2018. The 15 year coin would've been added in 2023 then BUT it wasn't released. Why? It makes sense. If we look at anniversaries 15 years isn't a special one. 5 years, 10 years, 20 years, those are typical anniversaries people celebrate but not 15 years.

I can't link you to a snip of when Steam said I started, which was April 25, 2004, but there's no deception here. I have a valid request for Valve.

Apparently something similar to this topic comes up a lot from account traders, but not exactly, otherwise the responses would have been *even* more cut and paste. Apologies if there's more to it here, but really, this place is extremely toxic and I don't want to be here anymore than you others. But, each of you actually does have to think to address my specific issue. I'm glad of that. So lets go further.

I request of you, do I sound like somebody that bought an account, which I did NOT and am insulted you all repeatedly suggest. Show me how to prove it. I can dig into my old PC install CD binder for the Half-Life disk with registration number on it. Would that be enough?

It won't, so what will? Perhaps dozens of emails sent to Valve's internal customer support email address they don't like to talk about, with suggestions that always end up in game later.

But, why are YOU even here? You've really barked up the wrong tree on this one, trust me.

I am specifically irritated because I have not been playing CS2 much and loaded it up last night to find my expected award is not there.

That's it. Simple.

I still maintain that a 20 year coin should be available now. Given you don't concede it's existence suggest it does not exist, hence, my complaint.

You can eassily see from the info on your account thats its only been used 3 years , you could make it private and we couldnt see but then why buy a 20 year old account to show off when nobody can see it right ?
You dont sound like someone who bought an account I cant hear you but your accounts screams im bougth from miles away.
Its interesting to me that probarly the ppl you want to impress the most are the ones that spot its an bought account in a second.
