CS2 RESOLUTION PROBLEM...

Since CS2 came out I have had the same problem.
After installing the game and opening it for the first time, it starts in 1920x1080 (16:9) in a borderless window (without modifying anything in the nvidia panel) if I change any parameter either from the nvidia panel with respect to the configuration of scaling (screen/gpu and aspect ratio or full screen) or the same video settings within the game I can never use 1920x1080 in 16:9 again....wtf
It also doesn't allow me to use it in full screen. It also happens that if I want to use 16:9 in a borderless window, this time it only allows me up to 1280x720 or if I use it in full screen it only allows me to 1366x768.
At the moment I can only play again in 1080p if a reinstall the OS
Any solution? I have seen some top players and streamers who play in 1920x1080 native full screen

Try just setting your resolution using launch parameters like so:

-fullscreen -w 1920 -h 1080 -freq 60

(change -freq to the frequency of your monitor, like 144 or 240)

That's how I do it at least, my maximum resolution is limited to 1768x992 for some reason. I could go to nvidia control panel and create a custom resolution I guess but I'm too lazy to do that. :D

Or you could use fullscreen windowed, unless you have some overlay showing up the game is forcing itself to run as if it was in native fullscreen as long as it takes up the entire screen anyway.

Try change on NVIDIA settings to GPU scale and see if it helps
