How to fix ping?
When I start playing cs2 I get over 1000 ms ping. However, when I watch YouTube or really doing anything else, everything loads without any interruptions or lags.
How can I fix it? Tried to force connect me to servers with less than 60 ping but whenever I start a new match, my ping goes back to 2000.

Typically, latency has little to do with your internet speed. You could have the fastest internet speed in the world but you would still lag if your "connection quality" is poor, as in deficient and unable to properly transfer data packets between your PC and the Server.

It's possible that your internet connection is one such case, either that or your anti-virus or something else is messing your internet connection and thus causing packets to be lost and interfering with your ping.

Good morning,

If this only causes you problems on CS2, I advise you to take a good look at your ports.

Otherwise, please contact your internet provider's support.

My greetings.

If you play on WiFi that can also be an issue, if you play on poor ethernet cables that can also be an issue.

I understand but I can watch 1080p + of video streaming without lags. I am using a wifi connection, it is stable. :er_wave:
