How to gift Prime for friend in CS2?

Hello, I have an issue with gifting Prime to my friend. We started to play CS2 and I would like to gift him Prime but there is no option for it, if I add it to the cart, I can only buy it for myself and thats all. If I try it with another game, then its fine and I can gift it, I´ll be so glad if you´ll help me, Thank you

Unfortunately this is not possible anymore, Steam funds are not transferrable and people have been abusing the gift feature too much with this game in particular to make themselves alt accounts with Prime status to cheat on.

The best way you can gift Prime to your friend is to top up their account directly.

Also, there is no Steam Support staff on these forums. You can try creating a Steam Support ticket, maybe they will give a better explanation.

Weird indeed, I can't gift Prime Status at all…
But if you could and now you can't, maybe removing it from the cart and then re-adding it back could help…

Transferring steam wallet funds from one account to another is not possible I think. However, you can buy a steam gift card and send it to your friend.

Nah, in the store if you buy it you can't even pick "this is a gift", only "for my account".
They changed it like a half year ago or so.
