Report a translation problem
I would recommend watching some videos of very skilled cs players who almost exclusively play servers that have maps with a bunny hopping course. Usually the videos are showing the keys they are hitting in the top left corner
I would also use those servers to try to get a good score. We don't have solid community servers yet, so if you have original 1.6 cs, the inputs still transfer over...meaning, there are bunny hop course servers in 1.6 that are still alive, and I would practice there, then come back here.
Valve made bunny hopping a bit harder in cs2, but keep practicing :)

Yeah you might be lucky to hit five in a row if you're going downhill, but it's rare.
The limit of 7-8 before the nerf was nice. At least it's good to be able to do if you need to rapidly move to different cover. I would only do this if I was confident enough to try bhopping in that moment
