Double buffering V-Sync on Linux (by CS2 settings), how to enable triplebuffered?
Hi, I have next issue:
When I trying to enable vsync in game settings on Linux, its look like double buffered vsync: input-lag became too high, and I am very dont like that.

Anybody know how to enable triplebuffered vsync to Linux CS2 to avoid high input-lag?

triple buffering CAUSES high input lag. Why would you want to have vsync on anyway in cs?

No, on the contrary, it removes the input delay, that’s why it’s triple buffering. Video buffering remove frame stuttering, its know any junior gamer.
Please, if you dont understand what about I wrote - dont write here.

Sorry I meant to say vsync increases input delay, not triple buffering. Even so why would you want vsync on in cs

Because its very high frame stuttering on Linux without it. My eyes can't stand such twitching

What about G-Sync ?
Should I disable it ?

Not everyone have FreeSync/G-sync, but default vsync with triple-buffering should be in any AAA game.

If you have enabled and supported G-Sync, you can disable in-game V-sync

People said that G-sync is actually Adaptive VSync .
It was set in Nvidia VSync aplicaion controlled . I will try it now with turned off & triple buffering on .

Maybe yes, I am AMD user, not Nvidia

Well, with G-Sync and turning Vsync Off , game giving me additional lag , so I set it back on "aplicatiion controlled" .

I found solution!

Switch to ProtonGE 9.1 its work perfect now with CS2 without any tweaks, so you can play CS2 avoid Linux version!

than run default console Vulkan VSync command and enjoy smoothest experience!
