I won't argue about the cheater thing (since I have never found one single suspicious player in my games in Valorant). The last thing I knew about cheaters in that game is that they paid 100+ USD and got banned after a short while.
In CS, I have highest TF, but still find cheaters in Prime and in every game when I play with non-prime friends (trust mode activated in both)...
How will CS gain new players if they are going to play with cheaters till they reach 21 or buy Prime?
I am not only talking about my own experience in both games; I am also doing a videogame-business related investigation project and found a lot of interesting stuff that makes me say Valorant is a real competitor for CS
Be aware that, in market terms, competition should be good for both game's playerbase since they will (should) put a lot more effort in dev.
it hasnt been gaining players since may, its been losing a lot
Overwatch steals playerbase -> CS:GO is still alive
Fortnite steals playerbase -> CS:GO is still alive
PUBG steals playerbase -> CS:GO is still alive
And people even return to CS:GO.
Wondering what will happen to Valorant....
P.S.: This is a CS:GO discussion forum and not a Valorant forum.
Happens with every new game.
