CS2 crash when smoke

Today I played the premier game and during this game, my cs2 crashed at any moment when I saw smoke. It is impossible to play. You need to do something with that. And I am not the only one who has this (links above). Please do something with that!!!

I continue to expiriencing this kind of problem. I found .dmp files with crash report of the game.
I opened it via VisualStudio with special extention and I found that some thread trying to read or write some file that it have no access to. Please create ticket to developers to fix that.

The error message is "The thread tried to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access.".

I continue in research how to resolve that problem, I log all info as console output and I find one more possibility that game crushe.

Right before game crash it trying to call field "m_flCycle" in class "CFlashbang" (moment from smoke dropped).
But that class does not have declaration of it.
After that it checked if permision is present: "MarkInterpolationLatchFlagsDirty: C_BaseEntity::IsLatchedPermissible() == false" like that and executed some message that 'caused to crush.

If solution is already present please provide steps to solve it.


I found something but it didn't help:

 
1. -vulkan
    
2. Update Windows install
    
3. Update drivers
    
4. Verify Integrity of Game Files
   
5. Disable non-essential software
   
6. Check the game's system requirements

I had same issues, with 4080 and 14900kf

The only thing that helped me was

1. Start up commands
allow_third_party_software
threads 4

2. Remove all CS2 shader files
(files
...\SteamLibrary\steamapps\shadercache\730
Delete folder 730

3. Open steam console (Type: shader_build 730)

4.and turn on nivida Debug.

5. I put fps max 300

Step 2,3 do it every time you trying to play CS

And what is this problem connected with?

Cuz of the new smokes ..my game was crashing when i was near to
Smoke even when i was spectating

Yea and make sure to to lower your fps like 280-300 ..mine was almost 600-700 and i lower to 300 max it’s seems helping …I played like 10-12 games with no crashes before that I would crash like 8-10 time a game

I've got the same problems. I am on 10th Gen i7 and 2060 w 16G RAM. Admittedly, not the most powerful machine, but I can play much more graphic intensive games with no problem. I've done all of the "fixes" that you can find online straight down to doing a hard reset. It's a little better, but not much. I'm crashing 2-5X per game. I can run Arms Race for hours and never crash, it's def related to the util.
