VAC Unable to Verify Integrity of Game Files

It seems to be a common problem with CS2/Steam currently... I and others have experienced this numerous times causing a 1k elo loss. You can't load into a game and the game crashes with the error, then you try and verify integrity of game files and it is stuck at 0%.

The solutions that I came to was unsubscribing from all steam workshop maps.

Another solution is signing out of your steam account, signing into another steam account, then verifying integrity of game files, then signing back out and in to the account you were playing on. then you can launch the game.

Valve needs to either remove the 1k elo loss temporarily, or fix the bug where you can not verify integrity of game files while there is a match your steam account was trying to load was connected to.

Happened to me a few times it wont verify until the match ends

Wtf is this valve... asking 19288373 times to verify files and when i turn on the game, they are not verified....?

I have also noticed this problem with workshop maps.

Due to the vac timeout bug I need to verify my game data of CS2 now for the 25th time (+ every time when I start CS2) and every single time after the steam-programm verifies the game data it starts to download something but there is no download progress bar running. It shows a progress bar, but there is no progress goin on.

After checking my network @ task manager I found out that the steam programm is downloading the workshop maps over and over and over again and after it downloaded one map this map gets deleted instantly so that the download folder is empty at the end.

I have to cancle the dowload manually to be able to play CS2. Or I wait until it downloaded and deleted all the 34 maps. Which takes a long time and destroys my hdd more and more every time :(((

Again valve f***** up :((

I unsubcribed from all workshop maps, but the steam programm is still doing this download + delete bug every time when I verify game data of CS2. Definately a bug.
