Do you still get random drops for watching tournaments?

As title says. if answer is yes, what exactly do i need to do?
do i need to use CSTV (in-game live spectate) or do you just have to be in-game?

i remember i got some nice skins during 2014-2015 tournaments by just watching them in-game, was just wondering if that's still possible. thanks.

pretty sure sounds like guessing. i havent followed csgo/cs2 since 2016, only been back for 3-4 months, that's why i'm asking, cuz i'm not sure either and would like to know for sure.

No, you don't get drops for watching any more.
You buy a Viewer Pass when the next Major comes around and can redeem Souvenir Packages based on how good your tournament predictions were.

oh wow ... what nonsense .. just another money milking scheme by valve, so disappointing ... pay for the game, pay for case keys ... and now pay to view. amazing!

i swear soon they will charge real money for having extra grenade and weapon slots.
