Update - Red Trust Factor
Update - Red Trust Factor

Greetings folks,

I never posted on forums, but today is an odd occasion I want to consult you. I have booted up CS2 to find my account was hit with a red trust factor. I'd like to stress my concerns, and that whilst I may have received many reports/been a suspicious player in the eyes of many, I write as someone who has never cheated in Counter-Strike. I don't want to waste your time, I'm not here to prove my innocence by writing on forums, as it is pointless. The primary purpose of this post is to gather more feedback and information on the matter.

My main question:
Is this trust wave definitive & is it sign of a ban wave in the following days?

Item 1:
A few months ago people were hit with fake bans, others were hit with red trust factors. This was later on reverted as people have found these bans to be erroneous caused either by NVIDIA drivers update or a new anti-cheat deployment (I never dug deep enough to find out). There also was a prior occurrence of such an event with a certain AMD driver feature. Could this once again be a software issue?

Item 2:
As I read complaints in this forum, I noticed that many accounts display tendencies reflecting cheating behaviors such as having very fresh, CS dedicated and cheap accounts, but nobody particularly trustworthy to back up their claims. This makes me question whether this update is here to stay or whether Valve will rectify what they did. I would be relieved if someone of a better stance replied in this discussion and shared their experience if they faced the same fate.

Item 3:
This is personal, but a few years ago, my former account was struck by a VAC ban as I accidentally ran a certain injector in parallel with CS:GO. I used this as a certain peculiar solution to run community multiplayer lobbies in a certain game. I received a red trust sign six days prior, and during that time messaged Valve just to get no feedback in regards to this. All I managed to do at that point was transfer my CS items. As someone with a bit of understanding in computers, I knew Valve detected all the red flags they wanted and wouldn't store any more data which could be used to appeal the ban.
Personal stories aside, I want to know whether a red trust factor typically results in a ban in the following days, or whether the verdict can also depend on how a person earned this trust factor. I've never gotten a grief ban, so my assumption is that players haven't led to this. A verdict from Valve would make it all the scarier

Please leave your thoughts below, I'd appreciate to hear from you.

Thanks! We use these reports to assist in the account recovery process, but your friend still needs to contact Steam Support. If you are able to get in touch with them, please direct them to Steam Support.:steamhappy:

I think everyone needs to have a good look at themselves and contemplate, if their behavior in the past has been the best or could they have done better ? if they could have nows the time to be better. myself included.

You have a game ban, that is why you have red trustscore, also hmmm. high level steam account, lowercase name, unique url, has a hidden profile, yeah it tells something.:CatLaughing:
