Should Vac run at Kernel level?
Hello, do you think that Vac works too softly and sometimes spinbots are no longer an everyday occurrence (at least for me), but the fact that people with WH playing legit are impossible to detect if they hide well, and here I am proposing that the game detects such software from the Kernel level like on Faceit, so that every ban would be like in Valorant. What do you say :)

Yes, it won't catch all but it would make cheating more difficult

It should be optional, not everyone likes an intrusive anticheat, it would also kill the CS on Linux. But the community should be separated according to their choice instead of separating players for buying prime or not.

Agreed. Not everyone plays MM. Some of them only play community servers. Kernel anti-cheat will ruin the community servers and potato users

how will it hurt players playing on potatoes? Valorant runs perfectly fine for them

Kernel Anti Cheat makes people lose FPS. To the potato users, 5 fps lower is a big problem

I though it already does run at Kernel Level...

It's simple, really. The game wasn't meant for you if you're not the targeted audience. Plus, I've been playing Faceit all the time, the performance are the same. So what you mean it'll reduce FPS? Just upgrade your PC to play the game.

They want ring 0 Valorant levels of kernal. Most Anti-cheats run on Kernal, they just don't run when the computer starts up and scans your files like extremely intrusive anti-cheats do.

Some low-end PCs get this problem. I don't find it happening on my PC but exists in some potato PCs (I tested them).

kernel level is ring 0, it means it is something you download and it has complete access to your computer. the reason people are against it is because it is dangerous. This would likely not ever happen, BUT if the kernel level anticheat was hacked the hackers would have COMPLETE access to your computer. From what I understand anyways, I'm still learning.

Just look at what happened with a recent Apex tournament. Someone figured out an exploit and using Kernal access, gave players cheats in the middle of a match.
