Ranks mean nothing?

I literally feel no difference in player skill either I'm in Gold Nova or Silver. Pretty much everyone I go against has Supreme/Global as their last rank prior to CS2. I was under the assumption Silver ranks were for people who just started out or are casual players, why the fk am I getting players who have XANTARES signed on their accounts, even though I'm chilling in Silver?! At this point every Competitive match feels like a mess of smurfs and veteran players and that one unfortunate new player stuck in between, reporting left and right, thinking they are playing against cheaters. Man, what a mess. When will the ranks even out, or is this how it's going to be from now on?

premier is the new competitive, competitive is more like casual nobody cares kind of matches

The normal ranks are broken since cs2 and there is no official word on it.
If you can handle the random map selection try premier mode, it works better there.

1 question that noone can answer:

Why these pro players stay in silver ranks if they r so good at this game?
It feels like every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ player is a pro at this game.
Once again if u r that good 10-20 mathces and u should be at global elite rank or something, but no they always stay on silver ranks somehow.

Ranks means nothing cuz everyone is an ESL pro, VAC is oudated, rank system is broken, only on CS2.

Premier is just full of hackers at this point. CS2 is legit unplayable. Just had 6 games today and at least 1 hacker in each one being blatant AF

I had to rage out of this game. Played a couple games on my alt, felt warmed up enough to play on my main.

Silver 3 and im matched against dudes with 78 aim? lol. The pros hit 95, that a HELL of a gap between the elite and silver 3.
