Edit: Cheating an issue we can't fix?

Edit: My title "Best Cheat and Free vs paid?" was doing it's job so well at dragging attention to it the topic got locked quite fast without being read. Hope people will still be able to find this debate if had some to comment and so on.

Now the title is clearly click bait but the subject is serious.

I play around 3500 Elo with about 5-6000 at the very best early stage of CS2 Release.

The amount of smurf and cheater accounts we meet is unbelievable like loosing 8 games in row ain't out of the normal.

This has lead to me and my community actual looking into other games such as Fortnite where we aced multiple games in row and felt delighted we could finally score a win and not feeling violated by players using unfair advantage.

So the question is, Valve when are we gonna see cheater's being punished?

I've reported a blatant cheater ( looking and aiming at us through walls ) this guy didn't try to hide it and one of there team mates even killed him and took cooldown in protest to his madness.

this guy was reported in-game buy what i believe to be at least 6 players and multiple people was given link to hes profile to help file reports on steam.

sadly nothing has yet happen.

So is the future cheats are to be considered okay to use as long we don't use spin bot, cause blatant Wallhack and aim assist is clearly passing through the system like a charm and why should we the legit players be forced to have an really bad day because of some kid think it's funny to cheat and likes to win?

Also are valve going same route as Blizzard and Jagex by doing annually ban waves?? cause that we simply can't wait for then CS2 has to be cut out and we move on to either Fortnite or Valorant.

Id love to hear an statement from Valve on this matter but i doubt it ever happens, but what are other peoples view on this issue how is your skills group?

Please include you're approximate Elo and how bad your experience is I'm curious if only happens in lower bracket

You'll find a lot of people on this forum deliberately troll (for whatever reason). I generally block people when I see them giving false information, that's what I recommend.

Trust factor barely works right now, and you shouldn't have and issue with it in lower elo. If it's low, the game will tell you when you queue.

A lot of people on here parrot trust factor being "green" and what not, watch out for them, a large majority of those people are tolls and are just looking to bait people into arguments on this forum.

Yeah i figured it was either an person unaware of how trust really works or a troll. Although i do understand how one could want to defend there own perspective of the situation and it is possible that if have several control groups that the amount of time you encounter a "bad apple" is very different.

just like the odds of meeting same team twice considering it says 100,000+ players searching so i don't wanna throw the "troll" card to fast as it can be an serious belief from that person to from there view.

I hope people will still share some of there opinion and thoughts please don't attack me or other's if our view on the game does not match, It's an online game and our experience may different a lot from each other in many aspect due to the game being an online / multiplayer experience that involve humans.

Nobody in the world has ever got a low trustfactor warning.

As there are no LOW trustfactor warnings.

This is just another thing made up, or misread by 'your' part of the community.

If you actually read the message been given in the lobby, it say LOWER trustfactor than player x.

Getting a LOWER trustfactor warning about another player doesn't necesarily mean this player has a LOW.

Also the colour of the message does NOT MEAN, red is low trust , yellow is meduim trust. Also made up by the intellectually challenged part of the community.

The red colour shows in combination with the warning, that the difference in trustfactor score between player X and Y is big enough that you will experience a significantly worse game experience as you are used too. And the yellow one a slightly negative impact for your game experience.

And that is what it means. Nothing more Nothing less.


Also, when you never get any lower trustfactor warning, it means only 1 thing !! ...you all have a (somewhat) equal trustfactor level. But it could be equally anywhere between high and low trustfactor. In your case im pretty sure it all equally low trust. As you are complaining about seeing cheaters, which you wont be doing when your trustfactor was high. Its as simple as that.


....and now back to sticking you head back in the sand, and continue denying the trustfactor system.

we can write in the forums all we want about cheaters... not gonna change a thing.. ppl been complaining about out of control cheating in CSGO , Now in CS2 its even worse.

But dont worry now we get 2 drops a rank... thats valves solutioin bribe us to play..

nothing ever inb the notes about anti cheat... they dont care.

I didn't uninstall, but I did install valorant. The community over there is pretty cool, friendly, and everyone hates cheaters. It's a solid competitive environment tbh

Well yes it show's to the other team member's if low trust I've only seen that message with 1 player in my entire lifetime.

you seem to ignore i play 4-5man stacks majority of time and therefor i reported you're post as i can only see you as an Toxic Troll sorry if you feel different and you're more than welcome to get in a lobby with me to check out if i lie or not i really don't care.

Many in my community gone over to Valorant too unfortunately it's not my cup of tea in style and character.

have tried a bit of fortnite too although it does not give the feeling cs2 does altho we got 3 first place victory in row
