Demo downloads are horribly slow

i was just in a match with a suspected cheater, wanted to download the demo to see what was going on, now its been well over 15 minutes and its still downloading.
Cant be my internet as its very fast and i could've downloaded cs2 multiple times during that time span.

Yes ik my demos take 10 to 15 minutes
I get 200 mbps speed

Why are you commenting on this old thread exactly? If the problem still persists it could be something in your end, atleast other people have them downloaded and watched in 2 mins according to this forum.

There is a possibility of an User Interface bug.

Demo is done, downloaded, but still shows as downloading (loading circle).

I got angry after 2 minutes, and clicked on a different match history > then, I went back, and the demo was ready to be watched.

Before switching to the previous match history, the demo was still being seen as "loading".

Test this and see if this happens to you, too.

Thanks, I think the issue was it as well, but they fixed it since my demos download pretty quickly now.

Beside this issue, it would be nice if there is progress bar to know how much left to download and download speed.
