Renting player skins
Before I start. I know the VAC needs fixing and optimising etc. But, just being able to have this even after the fact. Would be cool to see

Now that we have renting all of the box skins. Why couldn't we have for example renting other player skins? It'd be simple to use and skin owners can set their own prices. If someone wants to rent a skin you ask the owner of it to send a request to do so (otherwise people will get spammed over and over with requests). You set a certain date and price for said skins or if you make a deal and that's it?

way too complicated... you would have a separate market that competes with steams selling market... how would valve make money off that, also it would decrease the amount of that skin available to buy, making it seem more rare but then after 7 days the quantity could jump again... na sorry man this idea just dont work... unless you can rent crazy rare skins that hardly anybody has... even then i dont think it would work

I've looked and cannot find the rentable case.

Thats a great Idea. People are saying this is a bad Idea, but i think they dont Unterstand.

What happens if the skin u rent to someone gets locked in their account?

It’s the kilowatt case. Instead of opening to get a random skin you can rent them all for a week

It wouldn't. Because it is a rented skin and labelled so with data of who the owner is. The skin would be either automatically sent back or after the the rent is finished
