Counter-Strike 2
Lagging issuues -not because of the PC
I've been struggling with lag for a short time, even though my ping is in the green and my fps are at 3-400. This rarely happens, usually in the evening, but it's annoying -Feels similar to imput lag but looks more like a server error. Example: you press a button and you have the feeling that you are surfing. press once but comes three times.
I have a good PC, new setup, even new WiFi and the game still doesn't work smoothly.

How is your hardware behaving in other games? do u see the same result of sluggishness?
I would 100% run some benchmarks and see your temps under load.

Also as far as software in windows goes, is everything updated?

I understand lagg is bad but atleast u are hitting the sweet spot of frames being 3/400 so that's positive.
Hardware runs perfectly with other games - High to Ultra. Everything updated and works smoothly. The problem feels like a lag and looks like it to the viewer, but the ping is low and the hardware is running great. This can only be due to the game/update.

If you enable the frame times it might be spiking - after this update my game randomly does this. fps are 200+, ping 15 but frame times randomly going to 200ms which causes lag

After 2 games it usually calms down but only after this update it started doing it so they've clearly broken something

same here. after the latest update got these input lag/packet loss.
PC not a problem. i9/3080ti/32gb
its happening to me too. 7700x and a 4070ti shouldnt be stuttering with this setup
Everyone here who are having problems, DO NOT run unlocked frame rate, this is your problem. I play with GTX 680 in 1440p and I have absolutely no problems, game runs smooth in 90fps.

Long ago I used to run unlocked too and fried my first graphics card, I was so sad, but I learned from my mistake and listened to experts who told me not to fry my PC by running unlocked frames. My graphics card is much cooler and quieter when limiting frame rate to what my monitor can support. Actually I have 144 hertz monitor, but GTX 680 is not that powerful, so I prefer locking it to 90 for stability.

I have actually tried and when I unlocked my FPS, I instantly started having lag and stuttering problems.

Keep in mind that human eye can't even see over 150 hertz. There is absolutely no point in running unlocked frame rate, it only causes instability issues and turns your computer into a frying pan xD
