Lagging issuues -not because of the PC

I've been struggling with lag for a short time, even though my ping is in the green and my fps are at 3-400. This rarely happens, usually in the evening, but it's annoying -Feels similar to imput lag but looks more like a server error. Example: you press a button and you have the feeling that you are surfing. press once but comes three times.
I have a good PC, new setup, even new WiFi and the game still doesn't work smoothly.

what is 3-400 fps?
that's your problem .. you are stress testing your pc.
running unlocked fps is like revving a ferrari in first gear and wondering why it's slow and engine is overheating ...

don't stress test your PC while playing.

3-4 updates before that. i have 20 ping but plays like 200. not always but sometimes

csgo and cs2 have been running solid 60fps since beginning of their existence, updates are not the problem, you people STRESS TESTING your pc is the issue. stop running unlocked fps and you don't have issues like that.
only issues cs2 has been having, is random crashes. with some updates it don't crash at all, while with others it's a crash-simulator 2, but performance has never been affected.

hdd makes no difference, since csgo/cs2 loads entire map and models into RAM, it doesn't read anything from drive once you're in a match.

lag only happens when stress testing your pc or internet has issues, depending on type of lag.
input lag is almost always related to unlocked fps.
depending on software and hardware, some PCs like vsync, while on others you have to disable vsync and limit fps to your monitor's hertz capabilities.
in cs2 vsync works fine for me, but in some other games it doesn't, i get input lag so i have to disable and limit fps to what my monitor supports.

i know but you don't even know what components my PC has. other than that its actually locked to 400. Everything works but sometimes, usually comes in the evening, there is this imput lag that feels like 200 ping

same here. after the latest update got these input lag/packet loss.

CS2 has solved and reintroduced this bug a few times already, I think it's the netcode because my radio running outside the game lags when it happens too. CSGO had the same problem until near the end of it's life for me :(

I would 100% run some benchmarks and see your temps under load.

Also as far as software in windows goes, is everything updated?

I understand lagg is bad but atleast u are hitting the sweet spot of frames being 3/400 so that's positive.

Last few updates keep ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up frame times, sadly a known issue they seem to fix then reintroduce :)

I'm having the same problem running Linux. I've also seen multiple posts of people complaining about the same problems with Linux.

I dont have this weird issue but my friend does
I do get lower FPS yes but no stutters like that ....maybe a few but i dont mind much
Game is just F anyways so meh

Hardware runs perfectly with other games - High to Ultra. Everything updated and works smoothly. The problem feels like a lag and looks like it to the viewer, but the ping is low and the hardware is running great. This can only be due to the game/update.
