All skins are black on AMD after update!

Just loaded up the game there for the first time after the new update and all skins are now black, in the inventory and in game / inspects.

Does anyone have any fixes for this or do we just have to wait for valve to actually release a non bugged update for amd users for once??

Honestly the latest update has been a b$..ch and a half to 90% of players. But i would suggest trying the following :

If on Linux

• Enable Shader precaching updates (Steam > Settings > Downloads)
  
• Verify game files
  
• Launch in windowed
  
• Try to disable amd Anti-lag
  
  
  

  If on Windows

  • Verify game files
    
  • Launch in windowed
    
  • Try to disable amd Anti-lag
  
  

  ---

  
  
  

  If None of that work try adding a launch option

  Some recommended are
  

   +cl_forcepreload 1 

   -autoconfig  

   +r_dynamic 0

  Thanks for the reply man, I gave all these a try and nothing worked, it seems as if its just an amd and linux issue I guess. Appreciate the help tho :)

Yeah most recent amd driver update for my card was on the 15th, guess I gotta wait and hope either the issue is fixed, or that a new driver comes soon and fixes it before valve decide too.

I thought the same, i have an 6950XT and had this problem since i guess the update (not sure). Then i let a friend of me who also has an 6950XT update his driver and guess what, he has no problem with skins....

So i was in the same zone thinking it only was AMD and with the last update, but i guess i was wrong.
