Steamworks error while trying to launch CS2

I'm getting this error on CS2 loading screen.
Launcher Error
FATAL ERROR: Failed to initialize the Steamworks SDK.
No SteamClient021

That happened after latest update. Tried to change downloading region, reinstalled game, installed/reinstalled Steamworks SDK Redist. Does someone knows how to fix that issue?

Mine is biffing out too. I had a similar issue with CSGO but had to pay someone to fix it . I really hope this resolves itself

that’s wild, i’ve never had this issue or any before, just ended match, then closed game to install an update and this thing came up

yup .. same here. happened after the recent update. i haven't even shut down my pc and OBVIOUSLY i don't keep any updates enabled, so only change is cs2 and it pooped itself into oblivion ... i feel like i'm going to quit this game again.

didnt play it since 2016 until late 2023 .. time to quit it permanently, those billionaire devs are too incompetent and lazy

what fixed it for me, is updating steam.
by default i have steam updates DISABLED, cuz all steam does is updates some nonsense, they keep adding some new CHILDISH animations and other TRASH that only gets on my nerves.

so i turned updates back on. .. it screwed up my steam settings as expected and kicked out all logged in accounts ... typical ...
but it made cs2 work.

CANT VALVE DO ANYTHING RIGHT??????????????????? STOP UPDATING ♥♥♥♥ THAT DOESNT IMPROVE PERFORMANCE OR ADD NEW FEATURES!!!

childish trash belongs in kindergarden, NOT in steam! at least give me an option to run NON childish version of steam. .. this is so nerve wrecking ...
