people are getting exhausted of cheaters, and most people buy skins or cases from pages not from steam

The real reason is that there are bot farmers that farm cases for real world profit, then people turn around and sell those botted cases cheaply on the steam market for steam games. TF2 has this same issue. In that game you can buy the equivalent of an AWP, AK skin for pennies on the dollar because the item botting issue got so bad.

No. How would you “farm” cases. Random drops haven't been around for 2-3 years, you have to kill people like in DM or play ranked games, this isn't TF2. Plus with bonus XP you are 3 wins away from ranking up, which almost guarantees a case and a gun skin every single week. Which a ton of players do, which means more cases and reduced price.

That explains it well.

overhypeed games ,it's boring to play same thing over and over, with simple movement.

idk why buying expensive skins when i can use that money for actually buying games

If you play a game for 7000 hours like CS:GO / CS2 then it's not that much also as you can always sell your skins and turn it into games.

When CS2 Arms Race just released I used to run into Bot Farm Lobbies all the time. Even before that there are Bot Farmers in Casual lobbies. It is a real industry. But the change to drops has for sure made case prices go down.
50% discount ?!! omg

Marge, back up the semi-truck. loadem by the pallet !

that's how fortunes are made.

China opens the most cases. Pretty straight forward. They are a huge part of the market.
