Problem with registering shots and feeling of shooting in CS2
Hello,
I would like to bring your attention to an issue with the shooting mechanics in CS2. Despite the improvements with the new subtick system, shooting feels unfamiliar and unnatural compared to CS:GO.
In CS:GO, shot registration and animation happen synchronously, albeit with a delay until the next tick. In CS2, shot registration occurs instantly, but the animation still waits for the next tick. This results in a desynchronization of the two processes, making shooting feel "off."
A Reddit user demonstrated this issue by slowing down the server in CS2 to show how the subtick system handles shots. They noted that while shot registration happens immediately after the click, the animation still depends on the next tick, causing a delay and discomfort.
This desynchronization between shot registration and animation makes shooting feel unnatural and unfamiliar. In CS:GO, shot registration and animation are synchronized, making the process more intuitive.
I suggest considering the synchronization of shot registration and animation in CS2 to eliminate the delay and improve the overall gameplay experience. I am confident this will significantly enhance the player experience and resolve the current inconvenience.
Thank you in advance for addressing this issue. I look forward to a swift resolution.
