About the skins ported to the new models by their creators

I've noticed that some skin creators have ported their skins to the new CS2 weapon models. However, will Valve implement these changes in the game, or have the skin creators put in the effort for nothing?

i don't see a reason why valve wouldnt gradually move old skins onto the new models
