I have had low cpu usage too since the beta. Maybe this is optimisation problem or perhaps it relates to CS2 is no longer CPU intensive

It is the best the Source 2 engine can use your CPU.
The CS:GO engine literally worked on a single CPU core.

bummer, when capped to 237 ( 240Hz display ) my gpu usage is around 70-80%, uncapped usage around 85-90%... Looking for any tweak and fix for cs2 at this point. recently updated my bios and enabled ReBar support and testing out frame times. capped 237 fps i get as low as 120fps, uncapped ill reach 400 fps with lows around 280-350. I have a feeling cs2 needs lots of work. I have a paired 3090 and the game feels very off, as if its skipping frames or playing at 120hz lol.

CS games will always be CPU based since everybody wants 300 + FPS .
To OP , try to disable integrated GPU in device manager , set game on "Maximum Performance" in power options .

cpu usage never goes above 40% even with uncap and max P-state, 5GHz 10 core. there is more to tweak, I heard disabling E-cores but i'm uneducated past that point.

thanks, igpu disabled and power state only sets P-state to max, performance and balance is the same results

Both cpu is locked P-state (5GHZ) and gpu i will lock it a t boost (1900MHz), both are very good for any modern game. my ram timings are decent, my mobo is on the latest firmware. my hardware is acceptable. I'm thinking its the game

Ive messed with auto and on, I measure no difference, could you explain?

When you set ON - game using mostly GPU
Try with Auto ,than restart PC
