It's a shame you don't see much of that with CS2.
However CS2 isn't deprived of it completely. You do have some streamers working with people in creating custom plugins and servers.
But valve sure does like to not just walk but run backwards from the things that made CS great.
And by far their worst consistent sin has been anticheat. Destroying the mechanics of CS2 relative to CSGO has been their 2nd greatest mistake.
