Why doesn't everyone use the SG-553 and AUG?

Their cons outweigh the zoom accuracy. They are not bad as situational weapons, yet not good for versatile application. Without zoom they have worse spray and sg has slower firerate than ak

M4A4 has more damage per second (unless point-blank against a helmet) that the AUG;
AK-47 obviously has more damage per second than the SG553 after its firerate nerf

Also when SG553's firerate was nerfed its accuracy for some reason also was nerfed to be in line with other rifles and is now pretty much the same as the AK. So SG553 isn't the most accurate rifle in the game anymore :(

Also zooming takes time and it may cost you some lost hitpoints.

I don't get if that's truly the case since the time to kill someone is barely a difference, I always thought it's because they're "noob" guns which is dumb but not because the M4 and AK have an actual advantage aside from pricing.

It makes difference. One extra bullet hit is difference between dying and staying alive with 25hp
